Вчера бяха обявени всички филми, от които британските киноакадемици ще излъчат своите номинации. Известно е, че предпочитанията от двете страни на Атлантическия океан се различават, понякога доста драстично, но също така често големите фаворити за „Оскари“, „Глобуси“ и награди БАФТА се оказват едни и същи. Съвсем друг е въпросът кой печели накрая… За момента най-често в тези списъци са споменавани All Quiet on the Western Front и Баншите от Инишерин – съответно 15 и 14 пъти. Също така не трябва да изненадва различният брой филми, от които ще се излъчват номинации – тези списъци могат да съдържат между 8 и 15 заглавия, а финалистите за наградата „най-добър филм“ все още си остават пет на брой, за разлика от Оскаровите 10 кандидата.
Прави впечатление липсата на Рубен Йостлунд и Джеймс Камерън в имената, подготвени за номиниране в категорията „най-добър режисьор“, както и присъствието на Аватар: Природата на водата само в три категории – за декори, специални ефекти и звук. Специалисти коментират, че това вероятно се дължи на късното подаване на филма в портала за предварително гледане.
Съставянето на тези списъци и по сложна система от калкулиране на гласове и избор от страна на жури, като финално номинираните заглавия и творци ще бъдат определени чрез втори кръг на гласуване, който започна вчера и ще приключи на 13 януари. Самите номинации ще бъдат обявени на 19 януари, четвъртък, а наградите БАФТА ще бъдат раздадени точно месец по-късно – на 19 февруари 2023 година.

Все още не мога да разбера каква е тази мания по Топ Гън: Маверик. Филма бе доста добър екшън, но нищо повече, а го гласят за цял тон награди. Отвъд Ефекти, звук и Монтаж за мен филма с нищо друго не изпъква. Том Крус е на път да получи номинация за Най-добър актьор, при положение, че ролята му бе съвесем обикновена. Грантирана номинация за Най-добър филм също не я разбирам.
Повечето от фаворитите съм ги гледал, и за сега най-много ми хареса All Quiet on the Western Front. Фантастичен филм. Баншите от Инишерин също е доста добър. Everything Everywhere all at Once е изключително шантав филм. Актьорите играха много добре, режисурата бе огън, но някак си не знам дали заслужава титлата “фаворит“ която в момента има.
Относно Аватар, за мен филм не заслужава нищо отвъд номинациите за Ефекти, Звук и Дизайн.
Чакам да гледам The Fablemans на Спилбърг. Той ми е загадката.
All Quiet On the Western Front е забележителен – не очаквах да видя подобна виртуозност, мащаб, замах и интимна непосредственост едновременно. Стресиращо е колко от това, което е ставало преди сто години става…like, right fucking now. History teaches us nothing …
Това с Top Gun го отдавам на някакъв вид носталгия и надежда за бъдещето едновременно… Ако все още не знаем какво би върнало хората трайно в коносалоните – ето един пример за това което работеШЕ (и све още работи).
Иначе си мисля, че Close is the hidden gem – a movie where talent and empathy trumps the logistics and exceptional will required for the vision of cinema that Tom Cruise has…
