Вчера вечерта на бляскава церемония в Microsoft Theater в Лос Анджелис за 70-и път бяха раздадени наградите на Academy of Television Arts & Sciences по-известни като „Primetime Emmy Awards“ или просто като „Еми“. Водещи бяха стендъп комиците от шоуто „Saturday Night Live“ Майкъл Че и Колин Джоуст.

Първенецът по номинации „Game of Thrones“ (22 номинации в 18 категории) грабна 6 статуетки. За трети път ТВ-феномена спечели призът за „Най-добър драматичен сериал“. Наградата за „Най-добър актьор в поддържаща роля“ получи Питър Динклидж за ролята на Тирион Ланистър. Номиниран в същата категория беше и Николай Костер-Валдау (Джейми), за когото това беше първа номинация.

Сбогувайки се с короната и кралската драма „The Crown“ Клер Фой прие титлата „Най-добра актриса в драматичен сериал“. В следващите два сезона ще гледаме Оливия Колман като кралица Елизабет II. Другият голям фаворит за наградата беше Елизабет Мос за превъплъщението й в „Историята на прислужницата“.
