Тази година MTV предлагат лека смяна в правилата си за филмовите награди и вместо публиката да избере номинациите чрез онлайн гласуване, те са формирани от група „industry insiders”.
За съжаление, това не води до някакво съществено подобрение спрямо изминалите няколко години, през които тези награди изгубиха и последната си частичка очарование, но пък не е и съвсем без хич, защото поредният епизод на „Здрач” има само две номинации – а предполагаме си спомняте тоталната доминация на предишните части.
За отбелязване са и актьорските номинации на Руни Мара за „Мъжете, които мразеха жените”, Райън Гослинг за „Drive: Живот на скорост” и Джоузеф Гордън-Левит за „50/50”, но и друг път са се промъквали действително добри филми и изпълнения сред останалата тийн помия – Чанинг Тейтъм за „The Vow”, а не за „Внедерни в час”?
Само за информация, най-много номинации – по осем – имат „Игрите на глада” и „Bridesmaids”.
